Our Products
Perennial Ryegrass
Ryegrass sod can be mowed quite short and it wears well. This turf is great for school athletic fields and golf courses. The soft grass is comfortable for walking on with bare feet and it’s great for picnics!
more info
Can withstand mowing heights of 0.25″ – 3″ and requires moderate fertilization and watering. A fine bladed grass, with bright green color, the sod most often seen in the Pacific Northwest.
Minimum 500 sq. ft. delivery or 50 sq. ft. pickup
Tall Fescue
Fescue makes a hardy turf. It is a cool season grass known for drought resistance and some shade tolerance.
more info
A wider bladed grass with slightly coarser texture than Perennial Ryegrass, good for high traffic areas (kids and pets), Tall Fescue stays green throughout the year. Moderate maintenance and mow height of 2″ – 3″.
Minimum 500 sq. ft. delivery or 50 sq. ft. pickup
Hydroseeding
Hydroseeding is available in a variety of seed types and is very effective when establishing new lawns. Better than sod for hard to reach areas in need of grass for erosion control.
more info
It is mixed with a hydromulch that protects seed during germination, while providing nutrients. Hydroseeding offers a more even application of seed than seeding by hand, and promotes good root formation. Recommended for seeding large areas and for erosion control on hillsides.
Seed
Several varieties are available in both 10lb and 50lb bags.
Big Rolls
Big Roll sod offers a more efficient installation and faster utilization than regular sod rolls.
more info
The sod size helps the sod stay in place better during growth and can withstand more traffic sooner because there are less seams than traditional sod rolls. Big rolls are ideal for athletic fields, parks, golf courses, and large home lawns.
Minimum 10,000 sq. ft. order, must be installed professionally, requires industrial equipment.
Drill Seeding
Drill seeding is done with a tractor and a specialized seeding attachment called a drill. This application is good for consistent grass seeding of large areas.
more info
The drill opens a furrow, places the seed in the soil at a certain depth, then covers the seed with a packing wheel. The depth of the seed can be regulated as well as the rate of application. Germination is consistent, since the soil over the seed provides protection from the sun, wind, birds, etc. that can damage or disperse seed unevenly when using other seeding methods
